5th-gen Jeep Grand Cherokee India launch next month
The Grand Cherokee will be the fourth model from the brand’s line-up to be made in India.
Jeep has confirmed that the fifth-generation Grand Cherokee will be launched in India in November 2022.
The latest generation Grand Cherokee will be the fourth model from the brand’s line-up to be made in India, making it the only country outside North America to produce four models. The other three being the Compass, Meridian and Wrangler.
According to the company, the new Grand Cherokee will be equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The SUV will also get a full connectivity package with 24×7 assistance.
Apart from this, Jeep hasn’t revealed the engine options that will be available in the Grand Cherokee. That being said, in the international market, the SUV comes with either a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 petrol, a 5.7-litre V8 or a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol plug-in hybrid.
