French bee, a competitively priced airline based in France, is about to begin offering nonstop flights from Miami to Paris. Tickets for the flights, which will begin in December, are already on sale.

“Paris remains one of the most desired international destinations in the world for south

Floridians and with the continued growth that Miami is witnessing, we are confident that this is

the best market for our first southeast U.S. route,” Marc Rochet, president of French bee, said in a statement. “With the access that the new Miami service provides, we expect it to generate high demand, forging more economic and tourism ties between both cities.”

French bee began service to the U.S. in 2018, when it began offering service from San Francisco to Paris and Tahiti. It began offering service from New York to Paris Orly, an international airport about 12 miles from the center of Paris, last summer. It then began providing flights from Los Angeles to Paris Orly this spring.

The Miami To Paris Orly Route

French bee will begin providing three flights from Miami International Airport to Paris Orly in December. Plans call for adding a fourth flight before next April, Rochet explains.

On Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, the French bee overnight flight will depart from Miami at 9 p.m. and arrive in Paris at 11:40 a.m. the next day. The return flights, on the same days, will depart Paris Orly at 2:30 p.m. and arrive in Miami at 6:45 p.m.

The airline’s introductory fares start at $281 one-way for Basic Economy, which allows for one 26-lb carry-on bag. Fares range up to $641 one-way for Premium Economy, which allows for two checked bags weighing up to 50 pounds, and includes two premium meals, complimentary beverage service, and priority boarding.

Finally, French bee also has an interline partnership with Alaska Airlines to offer connecting flights from other cities to Miami.

Travel to France, Not Just Paris

French bee management recognizes that most travelers will want to see more of France than just Paris.

To make planning a trip to France easier, French bee partners with SNCF, France’s National

Railway Operator, to offer travel packages that combine air and train fare. French bee even organizes travelers’ transportation from the Paris Orly airport to the train station so travelers don’t need to worry about that connection.
