Amanda Holden outraged after getting Celebrations tin with no Bounty bars
Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has been left ‘outraged’ after discovering that Celebrations tins have stopped including Bounty chocolates. Taking to Instagram, she posted a photo of her chocolate box with the words, ‘This is an outrage!’ and an arrow sticker pointing to the lid which has the words ‘No bounty’ on it.
Recently it was announced that Tesco would be selling Celebrations tins but have taken out the coconut-flavoured treats in a new trial. It was discovered that only 39 per cent of consumers want Bounty chocolates to be ‘banished for good.’
The new ‘No Bounty’ alternative will be available to be bought until December 18. The limited-edition tins will still include fan favourites such as Milky Way, Galaxy, Mars and Malteasers to make up for the missing Bounty bars.

In a new survey, 2,000 Britons aged between 18 and 65 said that ’18 per cent would feel irritated to find only Bounty bars were left in the tub,’ while ’39 per cent wants the bars to be gone for good.’ The poll also suggests that Bounty bars are more popular for those with an older palette, with ’33 per cent of over-55s choosing it as their preferred bar.’

Celebrations senior brand manager Emily Owen said: “Last year, we gave customers the opportunity to return their unwanted Bounty chocolates. Now, off the back of public demand, we’re trialling taking them out of the tub altogether.
“You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone. And to those loyal – and secret – Bounty lovers out there, there’s still a chance they’ll make a return after the trial.”
