Are you all revved up with no place to go?

That won’t be a problem come late September in Las Vegas when Bat Out of Hell: The Musical begins its residency at Paris Las Vegas.

The over-the-top stage play is based on the trilogy of albums by Meat Loaf, with music and story by legendary songwriter Jim Steinman.

The musical begins its run in Las Vegas on September 27, with shows nightly in the Paris Theater.

The musical is described as a futuristic, post-apocalyptic combination of Peter Pan and Romeo and Juliet. It tells the story of star-crossed lovers from different worlds falling in love in what used to be Manhattan.

The show features music from Meat Loaf’s catalog from the late ’70s and early ’80s, including “Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad,” “Paradise by the Dashboard Lights,” “I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That),” and more.

Bat Out Of Hell: From Top-Selling Record To London Staple To Vegas

Bat Out of Hell, the first album in the trilogy, is one of the top-selling records of all time, having sold more than 60 million copies.

“Bringing to life the legendary anthems of Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf, this critically acclaimed production uniquely combines the magic and excitement of a musical with the immense energy of rock ‘n’ roll,” producers claim.

The show originally opened in London in 2017, had a brief run in Toronto later that year, then returned to London where it was a staple for more than a year.

It had a brief run in late 2019 off Broadway before launching a series of international tours. The U.S. version was set to launch in early 2020, but it was canceled when the coronavirus pandemic hit.

Tickets for the Las Vegas run have gone on sale and range from $47 to $122. The show is performed every night except Mondays and has no closing date set. Tickets are currently available through the end of 2022.
