Côte is offering free steak lunches to Londoners if you say a magic word
The deal is on a first-come-first-serve basis only
This week Côte is offering limited-edition steak lunches to hungry Londoners to mark work-life balance and ensuring employers and employees to talk about mental health at the work place.
Running from Monday 10th to Thursday 13th October, the three Côte restaurants will make 30 delicious grilled steaks available each day, between 12-3pm. The deal is on a first-come-first-serve basis only.
Lucky guests who secure the deal will get the chance to enjoy Côte’s signature Steak Frites main course for just £3.95, which is the price of a serving of frites.
However, guests cannot just walk in and claim the deal for free. Instead, diners simply need to state a secret phrase on arrival.

The first 30 guests each day who speak the phrase “Steak Free-t” to the Côte team will be able to enjoy the special deal.
Hungry Londoners can claim the offer at the following three locations:
- Covent Garden: Côte St Martin’s Lane, 50 – 51 St Martin’s Lane, WC2N 4EA
- Marylebone: Côte St Christopher’s Place, 6-8 St Christopher’s Pl, W1U 1ND
- Southwark: Côte Hay’s Galleria, Tooley Street, Southwark, SE1 2HD
Alongside the ‘Steak Free-t’ deal, diners can also test Côte’s range of delicious French favourites such as Crispy Confit Duck Salad and Celeriac Fricassée.
The promotion is available for walk-in diners only, and if you’re vegan or vegetarian you can order an alternative main course from the menu.
