Emma D 'Arcy Has The Internet Going Crazy Over This Twist On A Negroni

The ‘House of the Dragon’ star chatted with co-star Olivia Cooke about their favorite drinks.

While chatting with fellow House of the Dragon star Olivia Cooke during a TikTok for HBO, D’Arcy was asked “What’s your drink of choice?” At first, their answer was rather tame: a Negroni. But D ‘Arcy wasn’t done. “Sbagliato, with Prosecco in it,” they added. And that was the exact moment social media went wild.

What exactly is this delicious-sounding libation? In short, the Negroni sbagliato is the mistake we never knew we needed. According to Vulture, the bubbly sip, which combines Campari, sweet vermouth, and Prosecco, came about when a bartender accidentally poured Prosecco into a Negroni instead of gin.

The clip of the two House of the Dragon stars discussing their favorite sips has received well over 6,000 comments, with many TikToker’s swooning over D ‘Arcy’s English accent. “Emma’s voice is like aged wine that’s extremely expensive,” one commenter wrote.

During the short interview, Cooke also shared her go-to sip, revealing that a gin martini (in moderation) is her personal fave.

“I am actually really fond, as in my old age, of a gin martini with a twist. I think it’s very elegant. Gets me really pissed. I can only do two then I feel sick,” she said.
