Walt Disney World’s EPCOT is about to get a new look this fall with the opening of four new experiences. A new ride, a musical event, and two new restaurants are all ready to open in the coming weeks as part of the park’s 50th anniversary celebration.

Billed as part of the world’s most magical celebration, Harmonious will launch October 1. It will feature a number of Disney songs in “one of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever created for a Disney park and a key milestone in the transformation of Epcot.”

Harmonious will give visitors a sampling of familiar Disney songs with new interpretations. They will be performed in more than a dozen languages by singers from around the world, both well-known names and others being heard by audiences for the first time.

Topping the list is Luis Fonsi, one of the top-selling artists in the world, who will join Joy for a pan-Latin version of Saludos Amigos from Coco.

Other highlights include a medley from Moana and Hercules by Danny Gokey, Elisha Garrett, and Ninet Tayeb; “Dig a Little Deeper” by Bryson Camper, Karen Clark Sheard, and Kierra Sheard; and songs from Aladdin, Mulan, and The Jungle Book by a host of international artists. The songs will be weaved together with a new EPCOT anthem from composer Pinar Toprak.

“The resulting ensemble is a magnificent cultural symphony unlike anything heard before,” Disney promises.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

The park’s newest attraction, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, will also open on October 1.

Based on characters and scenarios from the 2007 animated film, this attraction will make you feel like you’ve shrunk to the size of a rat as you scurry through Gusteau’s, the Paris restaurant where Remy showed off his culinary skills in the film.

La Crêperie de Paris

There is no height requirement for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, which is part of a newly expanded France pavilion that opens inside EPCOT also on October 1. That includes a new restaurant, La Crêperie de Paris, which will feature crepes, buckwheat galettes, and French hard cider, among other menu items.

Space 220

La Crêperie de Paris isn’t the only new eating option set for the fall. Space 220 will open in mid-September adjacent to the Mission: Space attraction.

Guests will check in at the departure lounge and board a space elevator to the Centauri Space Station, which feels as if it is 220 miles above Earth. Inside the dining area, you’ll see a panoramic view of Earth below, and a variety of activities taking place beyond the windows of the restaurant.

The menu will feature fine dining options, gourmet recipes, a two-course prix fixe menu for lunch, and a three-course prix fixe menu for dinner. A variety of themed beverages will also be part of the experience.
