- Fast and ultra-rapid EV chargers coming soon: will my suburb get an EV charger?
If you have just purchased a brand-new electric vehicle, you’ll probably want to know where, when and how you can charge it.
If you’re based in New South Wales, like Chasing Cars, there is some EV infrastructure already in place – but there is a huge amount of EV charger construction due in the next two years, partly funded by the NSW government.
Chasing Cars has collated a list of all the current EV chargers around metropolitan Sydney that are 50kW or more.
There are more and more EVs going out on the roads. Thankfully, more chargers are on the way
However, the New South Wales Government has announced that with the help of several electric charging companies, it will roll out a further 500 chargers across the state of NSW over the next two years.
You can find below all the locations promised with the roll out. The Government plans to have a charger within five kilometres of each other in metro areas and 100km between chargers for regional areas.
