It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year – the Starbucks Holiday Menu is Here

It’s finally that time of the year. Yes, it’s the start of holiday season, but more specifically (and, to some, more importantly) it’s officially the return of Starbucks’ holiday menu. While many look forward to the big sales and advent calendars that come with this season, I look forward to trekking out in the cold weather to get my sweet, warm drink. This year, we’ll see the return of five fan-favourite drinks in holiday-patterned cups (it’s like getting a gift-wrapped drink, you know?), plus a handful of tasty treat options.
Starbucks Canada holiday drinks 2022
Caramel Brûlée Latte
This is my all-time-favourite Starbucks drink – the caramel brûlée sauce mixed into the steamed milk and espresso is like a dream. Finished off with whipped cream and caramel brûlée bits, get this as your morning drink and you’ll be smiling all day (at least I know I am).
Peppermint Mocha
Can we hear a little commotion for this iconic drink that’s been around for 20 years? With that track record, it’s no wonder that this is one of Starbucks’ best-selling holiday drinks. The espresso and steamed milk mixed with mocha sauce and peppermint-flavoured syrup topped with whipped cream and chocolate curls practically screams “holidays.”
Chestnut Praline Latte
A little sweet, a little spicy, this rich drink gives your taste buds the best of both worlds. Espresso and steamed milk are combined with the flavours of caramelized chestnuts and spices, finished off with whipped cream and delicious spiced praline crumbs.
Sugar Cookie Oat Latte
Introduced in 2021, this pretty drink is making a comeback this year. Served hot or iced, you get sugar cookie syrup with Blonde Espresso and creamy oat beverage topped with sprinkles to complete that “sugar cookie” look.
Irish Cream
I often look at the American and European menus longing for some of their drink options, but at least we’ve got something that everyone else doesn’t – the Irish Cream Americano, a caramelly espresso made with Irish Cream Syrup, hot water (or milk) with just a touch of cocoa. If the Americano isn’t your thing, opt for an Irish Cream Cold Brew; a smooth yet bold drink with the same syrup and hint of cocoa, topped with vanilla sweet cream foam.
