Jeep announces special-run Punk'n paint for 2023 Wrangler
- Jeep revives a limited-time colour last used for 2020
- The bright orange shade will be available on all Jeep models
- Even the Great Pumpkin would approve
Continuing with its habit of punny names for its exterior vehicle colours, Stellantis has announced that the 2023 Jeep Wrangler will be available for a limited time with a shade of bright orange called Punk’n.
The announcement was made to tie in with Hallowe’en, but the automaker isn’t off its gourd. Instead, it assures us it’s a treat, not a trick. It’s the sixth special-run shade on this Wrangler, following such colours as Tuscadero (pink), Gecko (green), and Gobi (tan).
Punk’n has been used before on the Wrangler, starting in the 2018 model year, but Jeep squashed it after its final appearance on the 2020 models. “Like other special-run colours for Wrangler, Punk’n appeals to a huge enthusiastic following because it’s authentic, inspiring and bold, much like the Jeep community,” said Jim Morrison, head of Jeep in North America.
Punk’n will be available for ordering soon on all 2023 Wranglers and will add $495 to the price in Canada.
