Americans are about to be introduced to the wonders of Marks and Spencer as the British retail chain is making its way into superstores across the pond ahead of Christmas. Signature food and drink products from M&S will be temporarily sold in American supermarket Target for the ‘holidays’, according to Food and Wine.
Shoppers will be able to get their hands on musical tins and proper shortbread biscuits. One of the 15 Marks and Spencer products due to hit America this month is the Shortbread Biscuit Bus Tin which is shaped like a red double-decker London bus. Even Americans love London transport, apparently.
Most items will be priced between $9.99 and $14.99 and are being advertised as gifts to give during the festive season. It would seem pretty tins are the stars of the show, with Santa’s Magical Light Up Chocolate Workshop, the Shortbread Biscuit Light-Up Lantern, and the Gingerbread Musical House Tin also available at Target.

Target Executive Vice President Rick Gomez said: “By joining forces with an iconic brand like M&S, we’re bringing our guests amazing products and giving them another reason to turn to Target for the moments of joy that make the holidays special.”
Meanwhile, Marks and Spencer Food has just released its Christmas advert in the UK featuring an adorable Battersea Dogs Home dog. Dawn French reprises her role as the Christmas Fairy and is joined be her longtime comedy party Jennifer Saunders who plays chewed-up dog toy Duckie.
