Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG & XL6 CNG launched in India
The Maruti Baleno CNG is said to return a fuel efficiency of 30.61 km/kg.
Maruti Suzuki has introduced CNG variants of the Baleno and XL6. Prices for the Baleno CNG start at Rs. 8.28 lakh, while the XL6 CNG is priced at Rs. 12.24 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Baleno S-CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that develops 76 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 98.5 Nm @ 4,300 rpm when running on CNG. Maruti claims that the engine returns a fuel efficiency of 30.61 km/kg.
The Baleno S-CNG is available in Delta and Zeta variants with a 5-speed manual transmission. The car comes equipped with 7-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, cruise control and 6 airbags among other features.
The XL6 S-CNG is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that makes 87 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 121.5 Nm @ 4,200 rpm when running on CNG. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and has a claimed fuel efficiency of 26.32 km/kg.
