McVitie's Bring Back Signature Digestives Flavour (Plus A Brand New Hobnob Flavour)

The biscuit gods must be looking down on us, because McVitie’s have just announced the return of the caramel digestive. That’s right, the MVP of the biscuit tin is BACK.

Since hitting the shelves in 1999, the caramel digestives quickly gained a cult following, and it’s not hard to see why. Chewy caramel, silky-smooth chocolate, buttery biscuit base – what’s not to love?

Controversially, they were taken from us in 2019, leaving a biscuit shaped hole in hearts across the nation ever since. But now, our prayers have been answered. It’s been three long years, and we’ve never been more excited to sink our teeth into a biccie.

McVitie’s Caramel Digestives

Oh, and the good news doesn’t stop there. Did we mention there’s a brand new Hobnobs flavour, too? Introducing: McVitie’s Coconut Macaroon Hobnobs (£1.75). Made 100% wholegrain oats, these biscuits are packed with delicious toasted coconut flavour and smothered in creamy chocolate. To be honest, we’re already lining up a packet for this week’s Bake Off.

Hobnobs are one of our go-to’s for cuppa dunking and come in a wide range of tantalising flavours – from classic Dark Chocolate to the most recent Sticky Toffee Pudding. If the previous flavours are anything to go by, then we’ve got high hopes for the Coconut Macaroon.

Both biscuit varieties are available to buy in the majority of UK supermarkets now, including Asda, Sainsbury’s, Co-Op, Tesco, Waitrose and more.
