The MG Air EV, MG’s second electric car, will make its debut in India in early 2023. The car was spotted testing in the nation earlier this month. The new vehicle is said to be a locally adapted variant of the Indonesian-displayed Wuling Air EV.
We anticipate that the Air EV will debut in India in 2023, maybe at Auto Expo. It is available overseas in two and four-seater versions with two different battery capacities. The bigger 26.7kWh battery pack is expected to go 300km on a single charge, while the smaller 17.3kWh battery pack is adequate for up to 200km of range.
The EV’s interior has synthetic leather seats, a floating centre console, twin front airbags, and a rear parking camera, as well as two 10.25-inch displays for the driver’s instruments.
More significantly, Wuling is the official sponsor of the G20 Summit, which will take place in Bali, Indonesia, this year. The automaker has set up a fleet of 300 Air small electric cars (EVs) around the city to transport significant delegates from the participating nations.
