Pecan Pie Bars
If you love pecan pie, these bars have all the flavors of the pie in an easy bar.
Perfect for entertaining guests or also a nice addition to a holiday cookie tray.
We love a big slice of that delicious pie but when the craving strikes and we don’t want a whole pie for two people these bars are the answer.
They also freeze perfectly so you can take them out as needed!

Ingredients You Will Need:
- Crust:
- flour
- white sugar
- salt
- unsalted butter, cold
- (You can also use refrigerated pie crust dough in a pinch)
- Filling:
- eggs
- light corn syrup
- white sugar
- brown sugar
- butter, melted
- vanilla extract
- coarsely chopped pecans
Instructions:
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line a brownie pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl beat together flour, 1/3 cup sugar, and salt.
- Cut in 2/3 cup butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press this mixture evenly into the prepared pan, and press in firmly.
- Make the filling ingredients and combine evenly then pour over the crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes or more until set in the center.
