The public has always been fascinated with the Kennedy family compound, which JFK frequented when he was President. The property consists of three white clapboard houses on a six-acre waterfront lot on Cape Cod.

Elvis Presley bought his mansion in Memphis, Tennessee in 1957 and promptly moved his family onto the sprawling estate. The house was built in 1939 and was the singer’s home base until his death in 1977. Afterward, his family turned Graceland into an exhibit that attracts over 600,000 visitors a year, according to the Graceland website.

She purchased the estate in 1947 and married her fourth husband, Jo Bouillon, in the property’s chapel later that year.
