Pressure Cooker Bacon Cheeseburger Dip

Pressure Cooker Bacon Cheeseburger Dip is a great recipe for game day, movie night or any get together. This warm dip takes the best parts of a bacon cheeseburger and puts them into a thick and hearty dip. This dip works well with crackers, tortilla chips, corn chips, and even toasted bread. This recipe tastes like a slow cooker dish but comes together quickly in an electric pressure cooker. Making it in an electric pressure cooker means the house doesn’t heat up like it does when you use the oven.

Instructions

Plug in the electric pressure cooker.

Set the pressure cooker to saute.

If you’re cooking the bacon in the pressure cooker, cut it up into pieces and put it into the pot to brown. Alternatively, you can cook the bacon in any other way you like. Bacon takes a while to cook in a pressure cooker so generally if I need a pound of bacon then I bake it. You could also make it in an air fryer. Or, you could even buy shredded bacon or precooked bacon in the grocery store.

If you’ve made the bacon in the pressure cooker, remove it and set aside on paper towels. Add a little water to the pot and deglaze the pot to loosen any stuck bacon.

Add the ground beef to the pot and brown it.

Once the beef is cooked, add the diced tomatoes to the pot. Don’t stir.

Cut the cream cheese into cubes and put it into the pot then sprinkle the seasoning in. It’s still not time to stir.

Place the cover onto the pressure cooker and close to seal.

Set the pressure cooker to cook on manual high pressure for 4 minutes.

Once the cooking cycle has finished, do a quick pressure release.

Add the shredded cheddar cheese to the pot and stir well.

Add the bacon into the pot and mix to combine.

Serve immediately with tortilla chips, corn chips, crackers, toasted bread or anything you like.

Enjoy!
