Pumpkin Spice Pretzels Recipe: The Addictive Fall Snack

When fall rolls around, I just want to enjoy everything pumpkin flavored. Call it basic if you must, but there’s no denying that pumpkin is an awesome flavor. The more I can enjoy of it, the better! Each year I make a double batch of these addictive Pumpkin Spice Pretzels to snack on. They’re so addictive and delicious – you must try them.

The kids even love these pretzels as an afternoon snack. My Husband likes to enjoy them while watching fall football and they’re great with a pumpkin beer. Just make a big batch in the beginning of the fall season and enjoy for weeks to come because they’ll last a long time in your pantry!

You don’t have to be an expert chef to make this snack recipe. I promise that it’s super easy. There are so many different ways to fancy up plain pretzels, but this one has the nice sweet and salty combination. Just toss to coat the pretzels and bake for a little bit of time in the oven.

You Pick How Much Pumpkin Flavor You Want

This recipe calls for one tablespoon of pumpkin spice, but you can definitely add more if you want (up to two tablespoons). The one tablespoon offers a slight pumpkin flavor without being overpowering. It’s a hint of pumpkin spice. If you’re a HUGE pumpkin spice fan, then I would go for two tablespoons. Either way, you’re going to get the pumpkin flavor coming through.

When To Serve Pumpkin Spice Pretzels

These are awesome for Halloween parties, Thanksgiving cocktail time, after-school snacks or to munch on while watching fall football. They’re awesome with my Autumn Whiskey Apple Cider Punch. I make my pretzels the week after Labor Day to signal the beginning of fall. Then I can grab them out of the pantry whenever we’ve got a snack attack.

How To Keep Them Fresh

Once they’re baked and cooled, you can store any leftovers in an air-tight container. I use a gallon plastic bag that has a zip top. They’ll last for 4-6 weeks in your pantry without going bad. The sugar coating acts as a preservative too.
