Sabangan Beach Resort in Laiya, Batangas

I’ve been to Sabangan Beach Resort twice, and I had a lot of fun during my stay.

My first visit was about five years ago when we had our team-building activity in this resort. Then I came back together with my friends a couple of years ago. The first thing that you’ll notice at Sabangan is the lush green sceneries and trees that surround the area. It was relaxing and perfect for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Another thing that is commendable about Sabangan is the delicious food that they serve at the Pavilion. The meals are included in their accommodation package which is convenient and very transparent compare to other resorts in Laiya. All are inclusive of afternoon meals, dinner, and breakfast.

Since I went to Sabangan with a big group, I stayed at their biggest accommodation which is a two-storey loft with a veranda. They call this the Acacia Loft. It can accommodate up to 12 persons perfect for your group of friends and families.

Of course, the best part about Sabangan is its beachfront views and if you want to relax within the resort’s premises, there’s a pool for kids and adults to indulge in. Indeed, it was a nice and comfortable stay.

Rooms for small and big groups

Sabangan offers a variety of rooms and accommodation for couples to big groups. Just like what I shared a while ago, I had experienced the resort’s biggest accommodation, a two-storey loft perfect for my group of friends. It is the Acacia loft with a veranda which is good for bonding and a little drinking session. Please be advised that Sabangan is a peaceful place so all visitors must be very cautious about making unnecessary noises especially during drinking with friends.

Here are the details of the different accommodations of Sabangan.

Bamboo Cottage

This is a standard room with a veranda, perfect for couples. It has a queen-size bed in a 30 square meter room. It is air-conditioned equipped with wifi, television, shower, and towels. This is priced at Php 6000 per night, but Sabangang usually offers some promos and discounts, so please check their website.

Dao Suite

This is a superior room with a balcony. This is also perfect for couples but it can actually accommodate up to 3 persons. It is air-conditioned equipped with wifi, television, minibar, shower, towels, and drinking water.

Narra Bungalow

This bungalow is good for 4 persons. It has a veranda and 2 big beds. The room is air-conditioned with wifi, TV, shower, towels, minibar, and drinking water.

Acacia Loft

This is the biggest accommodation of Sabangan Resort. It is a two storey loft that can accommodate up to 12 people. It has a veranda. The rooms are air-conditioned equipped with wifi, television, minibar, shower, towels, and drinking water.

Narra Bungalow Beachfront

This is beachfront accommodation with a veranda which is good for four persons. This is also air-conditioned equipped with wifi, television, minibar, shower, towels, and drinking water.

Yakal Bungalow

This is a family bungalow with a veranda which is good for 6 persons. The room is air-conditioned equipped with wifi, television, minibar, shower, towels, and drinking water.

Yakal Bungalow Beachfront

This is another beachfront Deluxe Family Bungalow with veranda. This is good for 6 people. It is air-conditioned equipped with wifi, television, minibar, shower, towels, and drinking water.

Molave Bungalow

If you’re looking for good accommodation for a big group of family, Molave Bungalow is a perfect choice. It is good for 8 people. It is air-conditioned equipped with wifi, television, minibar, shower, towels, and drinking water.  CHECK ROOM RATES HERE

The Beach

Sabangan Resort is located in the famous white sand beach of Laiya in San Juan, Batangas, specifically in the Verde Island Passage. So the beachfront of Sabangan is truly remarkable. Laiya is known as one of the best beaches near Manila and in the province of Batangas. So expect a relaxing refuge when you stay at Sabangan.

Plus the resort also has some relaxing sofas near the beach, so you can relax while sipping your morning coffee or reading a book overlooking the peaceful beach.

I had a nice experience swimming at the beach. It just feels so good to spend these moments with your closes friends.

The Swimming Pool

After enjoying the beach, you can chill at the resort’s swimming pool. It has a separate kiddie pool too. This is one of our favorite spots to chill with friends.

Water Sports and Other Amenities

Sabangan Beach Resort also offers a variety of water sports for guests. During our stay at the resort, I’ve tried the banana boat twice too. Other than that, there are other activities to enjoy such as kayaking and jetski.

If you want to visit the islets near San Juan, they also offer a boat ride for the visitors. Sabangan is also popular for being a pet-friendly resort, so you can bring your fur family members on your vacation.

Overall, Sabangan is a truly relaxing resort. It is surrounded by lush greenery and nature. It also offers quality service and amenities. Plus the accommodation is perfect for small to big groups. The food is also superb and delicious. Since the meals are also included in the package, there is definitely no extra or hidden charges, giving customers a much better experience.
