'So easy!' Use simple cleaning product to get oven racks 'sparkling' again - 'brilliant!'
Mrs Hinch is a cleaning enthusiast with over four million followers on Instagram. She is so popular that fans have created Facebook pages in her honour, where they share their best cleaning tips and tricks with one another.
On one such page, with over 10,000 followers on Instagram, one cleaning enthusiast wanted to know how to clean oven racks.
Katy Hines wrote: “How do people clean their oven racks need help please.”
The post was inundated with comments within minutes as other Mrs Hinch fans had a plethora of tips and tricks to offer.
Although there was a variety of hacks, one stood out more than the rest: using a product called Oven Pride.
Cleaning oven racks
The Oven Pride cleaner costs £4 at all major supermarkets, such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s, and Asda.
Many Mrs Hinch fans recommended it due to it being easy and quick to use on oven racks.

Medina Mulla commented: “Oven Pride is brilliant just pop them in the bag provided and add solution leave over night and rinse next day. Please read instructions and use gloves.”

Washing up liquid
There were other recommendations in the comment section too.
Carol Towers said: “I leave mine in the sink overnight, with a dishwasher tablet and then scrub with a Brillo pad the next day.”
Some advised putting the racks in the dishwasher, with Christine MacPherson saying: “Dishwasher first then clean.”
Tracey Harris said: “Soak in boiling water and washing powder then use metal scourer or you can use Oven Pride kit.”
Julie Ellen commented: “Dr Magic only £1, I put racks in a bag spray it it. It smells strong fold bag over leave long as possible. Then wash off. I found it works well.”
