1. Karijini National Park
The second-largest national park in Western Australia, Karijini National Park covers a whopping 627,422 hectares. The National Park frequently receives temperatures topping 40°C which makes winter a common time to visit. The park is home to some of the most scenic and breathtaking views in Australia.
2. Millstream Chichester National Park
Travel further north-west of Tom Price and you’ll pass by Millstream Chichester National Park. Over 120 species of bird, 30 species of mammal, 150 species of reptile and 500 species of plants can be found in the national park.

Make the most of your time in Tom Price with a hike up one of the many mountains in the local area. After, cool off with a nice cold beer, wine or soft drink and meal at Golfie Café in the town centre.
3. Mountain View Sporting Club
Try your skills at a bit of golf at the Mountain View Sporting Club. You can also stop in at the Golfie café and bar for a bite to eat or maybe a cold beer to cool off on a warm afternoon.
4. Climb Mount Nameless
Mount Nameless stands a massive 1,128 metres about sea level and travelling to the top provides sweeping 360-degree views of the Hammersley Ranges and the town of Tom Price. For a return hike to the top and bottom of the mountain, it’s recommended you allow approximately 3 hours.
5. Hike Mount Bruce (aka Punurrunha)
Mount Bruce (aka Punurrunha) is the second-highest mountain in Western Australia, offering a long and rigorous climb – perfect for hiking enthusiasts. We recommend tackling the 6-hour (approx.) round trip in the early morning before the real heat sets in.

7. West Oz Active Adventure Tours
From April until October, West Oz Active will be running a range of tours exploring Karijini National Park. These adventure tours give you access to most of the park, including restricted Class 6 gorges very few people see.
8. Tom Price Visitor Centre
Stop in at the Tom Price Visitor Centre in the centre of town for information on local tour providers and must-see locations. The centre will also guide you through important travel information and how to keep safe while travelling our vast outback.
Tom Price is located approximately 1,500km north of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia. By car, the trip to Tom Price will take you approximately 16 hours from Perth.
