Volvo rolls out first locally assembled XC40 Recharge
Deliveries of the XC40 Recharge will begin this month.
The first locally assembled Volvo XC40 Recharge has rolled off the assembly line. The all-electric SUV is assembled at the brand’s Hoskote plant near Bangalore.
The XC40 Recharge was launched in India in July this year. It is available in a single variant priced at Rs 55.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
The XC40 Recharge is available with dual electric motors that generate 402 BHP and 660 Nm, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
The EV is powered by a 79 kWh battery pack that offers a claimed maximum range of 418 km. Volvo says that the battery pack can be recharged from 10% to 80% in 28 minutes using a fast charger.
Deliveries of the XC40 Recharge will begin this month.
