Peaches and Nectarines are related stone fruits. Nectarines are a type of peach without the fuzzy skin, they are distinguished from each other from sight and touch, and they have impressive nutritional benefits, when compared on nutritional level the calorie, carbohydrates and sugar content of peaches is high, the content of protein, vitamin b3, vitamin a is high in nectarines. The firm texture of nectarines makes it an excellent fruit for grilling. The fuzzy protective layer of peaches is removed before baking as it can get tough when cooked, the nectarines skin is little thinner and therefore better to avoid the extra step of peeling.
