Why Roloff Farms Pumpkin Season Fees Are Annoying LPBW Fans

The Roloff’s are once again in the hot seat with Little People Big World fans, and this time around, it’s because of their pumpkin season prices. October is here again, and pumpkin season is in full swing on the Roloff farm. This runs from October 1 to October 30 every year, and visitors are welcome to pick pumpkins and participate in all the festivities happening on Roloff farms.

Pumpkin season is the busiest time of the year for the Roloff’s, but that may not be the case this year. As noted on the Roloff Farms website, there has been a spike in the fees. Now the entrance fee to the farm alone is $27 per person above five years old, and that doesn’t include the price of a pumpkin. To get a pumpkin, LPBW fans, who are disappointed in Amy Roloff, and visitors alike will have to pay $.79 per lb, while specialty pumpkins cost $.99 per lb. However, in the $27 entrance fee, visitors get “free parking, entrance to the farm, all scenic trail and adventure walk activities, and our famous group wagon tour!” Despite everything that comes with the fee, Little People Big World fans are less than happy about it.

Fans took to Reddit to discuss the increase in prices for pumpkin season at Roloff Farms. u/Hanaclw started a Reddit thread, talking about how they won’t pay $27, knowing the fee for a pumpkin is not included. Another Reddit user commented on the thread, saying, “I’ve wanted to visit during pumpkin season. I’ve never checked the details. Am I reading this correctly? $27 per person just to get in the gate? That’s the admission price and you still pay for pumpkins, attractions/rides & food?” LPBW fans, who accused Matt Roloff of ruining his family, believe the price is unfair, especially since the economy isn’t as good as it used to be.

Despite LPBW fans being displeased with the price Roloff farms are charging this year, others don’t care much about the price. Some have even gone as far as to say that the price seems pretty average, and there are other places charging way more than the Roloff’s are. Another Reddit user noted the price is pretty fair, and those who are complaining want a freebie whenever they can. “People want everything for free. There are a lot of costs associated with running a business. Number one being employees that need to be paid a wage high enough so that they will show up at work.”

There’s no telling how successful Pumpkin season will be this year, seeing as some fans are fine with the Roloff farms price changes while others aren’t. However, as some fans have noted, there is a lot that goes on in running a business, and sometimes that means raising the entry prices. Seeing as Roloff farms is a huge attraction in Oregon because of Little People Big World, the price seems appropriate.
